OTHER PROJECTS AT ANANDWAN
Beginning with the leprosy hospital in 1951, another 20 projects have been started in Anandwan by the Maharogi Sewa Samiti. These include a number of schools and colleges.
The Anand Niketan College, with faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in 1964. This college, which is affiliated to the Nagpur University, has a total teaching staff of 84 personnel, who cater to more than 2000 students. An Anand Niketan Agriculture College was also established in 1965. This college, affiliated to the PRD Agricultural University, Akola, has a total teaching and non-teaching staff of 51 personnel, catering to 415 students.
